If a person’s wishes are known then RJ Sidney Craig Funeral Directors is able to arrange their funeral service accordingly and will make sure that your loved one’s final wishes will be fulfilled down to the very last detail.


Where a person’s wishes are not known, RJ Sidney Craig Funeral Directors’ caring staff can assist families make arrangements that will appropriately honour their loved one. We help families to decide which crypt or burial site is best suited for their loved one.

For those who prefer to have a cremation instead of a burial, Craig’s Hill Crematorium is a state-of-the-art cremation facility that allows families to honour their loved ones in a way that will suit their preferences. Our service begins from the moment we are notified of a person’s death.


We will consult with those who are left behind to make sure that the funeral is a meaningful experience and the memorial becomes a celebration of life.

For burial services, our team will need to know if there is an existing family burial plot or if a new burial site is needed. If a family does not own a family burial site, RJ Sidney Craig Funeral Directors can assist in selecting a burial site or crypt for a loved one.

Families can consider what to do with their loved one’s ashes. There are various options to choose from. You can place the ashes in a lawn cemetery, burial plot, wall or tree niches or a mausoleum. You may choose to keep the ashes in an urn inside your home or put some ashes into a necklace/jewellery. Scattering or dividing the ashes is also an option for grieving family members.
